Lorraine is a B.comm graduate, she graduated from Vista University in 2003 and then went on to work for
SANTA GP Association, a TB training organization where she was a bookkeeper, that is where she started working independently from University, she then went to join an Accounting and Auditing firm named Sithole

Incorporated where she was part of the financial services team. In her time at Sithole Incorporated she
performed accounting and tax services on some of the small to big local businesses such as Doctors, Retailers, construction contractors, consulting services, property consultants, hotels, legal services.
She later joined Sithole Human Capital where she was an accountant for various companies; during her time at Sithole Human Capital she gained more experience and independence in accounting and taxation. She headed the finance department as a financial Manager of SHC and other various companies under SHC, dealing with full function financial accounting, human resources and payroll functions. She was also involved in project coordination for some projects held by SHC, dealing with project accounting and ensuring smooth running of the projects in line with the budget. This is where the idea of Sharp Books was born.
